Ticket Information:
A $150 General Admission ticket is required for entry. Other ticket types (Case of Wine, Buy Groceries and Fill A Backpack) may be purchased to support our fundraising goals, but they do not include entry to the event.
Roots is a community-based fundraising event presented by Cork and Strawberry Hill Farm. In 2018 & 2019 we hosted a tent party featuring a walk-around wine tasting & food sampling where 100% of proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Vermont Foodbank’s “Vermonters Feeding Vermonters” program. After 2 years in the pandemic, the Vermont Foodbank needs our support more than ever with 1 in 4 households becoming food insecure. This year the proceeds will be donated directly to the Vermont Foodbank for them to allocate where it is most needed.
Currently, the Vermont Foodbank has secured $45,000 in donor matches. Our goal for 2022 is to match, if not exceed, our 2019 donation of over $100,000 so between ticket sales and additional donations we hope to secure $55,000 this year.
Roots showcases natural wine curated by Cork, local beer & cider producers, local restaurant bites as well as artisan bread, cheese, salumi makers. Roots is also a zero-waste event. Buy a ticket today to join us for Roots 2022 on Saturday, June 4, at Strawberry Hill Farm.
