Basket weaving workshop with weaver Alexa Rivera.

Come join us for a day of basket weaving at the Montgomery Center for the Arts, located in the historic Kelton Hall. In this basket weaving intensive workshop, everyone will make and leave with their own Garden Harvest Basket- a small basket with a long leather strap, perfect for gathering leafy greens from the garden, wearing to the farmer's market, or berry picking in the summer. Come join us and learn basic basketry techniques, and spend the day practicing this ancient and meditative craft.
