Join Jim McCarthy, the Executive Chef at the Inn at Shelburne Farms, on an exploration of classic Chinese cuisine!

Learn how to use those strange sounding vegetables such as pak choy and lotus root to produce an impressive feast of salads, sides, and main dishes such as Pot Stickers, Mock Prawns, BBQ-Style Pork, and Ants Climbing a Tree. Of course, all of our hard work will be rewarded when gathering to enjoy a 6-course meal prepared by you and your peers!

This class is perfect for any level of home chef - those just starting out in the kitchen, and those who feel right at home.

About the Instructor:

Jim McCarthy is the Executive Chef at the Inn at Shelburne Farms, where he creates a menu full of farm-to-table delights from around the world. Jim holds a culinary arts degree from the New England Culinary Institute, and a Master's Degree in nutrition and food science from the University of Vermont. He also worked with the nutritional services staff at South Burlington school and helped them strengthen their mission to serve fresh, healthy meals.
