Students investigate how animals have adapted to survive Vermont winters. We’ll explore the winter woods and learn how to identify and interpret animal tracks and sign.
We integrate the outdoor classroom with rigorous academic concepts, conservation-based themes, and connection with nature. Audubon Vermont's series of monthly homeschool programs focuses on key science concepts: math, biology, environmental sciences, outdoor skills, and communication/team skills. Each program is designed to give you a platform from which to build other units/lessons in your homeschooling. Audubon's programs will enrich, reinforce, and diversify what you’re working on at home.
