Drop-ins welcome

Come explore your love of drawing and nature with your classmates and friends! Each session will be inspired by a new theme --from animals to insects to flowers, guided by the group's interests. Along the way participants will try different art materials-- and even make some yourselves-- with time to work on individual projects. All that's needed is curiosity and creativity!

The Drawing Club will follow the HUUSD schedule and weather cancellations, (announced for any students who aren't in that district).

No specific number of sessions is required: sign up for the dates that work for you!

Rachel Sargent Mirus is a STEAM teaching artist and science writer. Originally trained in biology, she has worked in research labs and museums across the country. She has taught for museums including the California Academy of Sciences, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, and in Vermont at the Montshire and Fairbanks Museums. She now teaches locally for organizations like North Branch Nature Center, Across Roads Center for the Arts, and the Children's Room.
