The documentary Bonnie Blue: James Cotton’s Life In The Blues is about James Cotton, whose musical influence shaped the Chicago blues style, and was one of the first blues musicians to cross over and become a familiar sight on rock ‘n’ roll stages. A blues lovers must see, the film features appearances by Buddy Guy, Keb’ Mo, Steve Miller, Jimmy Vaughan, legendary Bobby Rush, Christine Ohlman from Saturday Night Live, and some of the best harmonica players on the planet. The film has screened all over the world including London UK, Tel Aviv, and cities and towns throughout the US. It has garnered several awards, including one of 5 finalists in the prestigious Library of Congress Ken Burns Prize for Film.
Immediately following the documentary, blues legend James Montgomery will hosts a show with blues sensation Dave Keller, and the incredibly entertaining Chad Hollister, both national performers and well known in the Burlington music community.
