Have you ever wondered how bakeries make perfect and delicious bagels every day? Students will participate in all the steps involved in creating bakery quality bagels in their own kitchen. Prepare to get your hands dirty as you learn the entire process from dough making through forming and baking as well as storage. We'll also get into a brief history of this beloved bakery item!
About the instructor:
Jeffrey Silver is a chef, baker and veteran of the restaurant industry. Originally from New York, Jeffrey developed his take on "Vermont Style" bagels at the celebrated Mtn Seasons Woodfired bagel bakery in Jeffersonville. He is dedicated to featuring local ingredients to create unique and delicious bagel flavors. Jeffrey is currently part of the team at The Big Spruce restaurant in Richmond, where he was also the mastermind behind this summer's creemee program.
Our facility is BYOB.
Class has a maximum of 12 students and a minimum of 6. Classes may be cancelled 4 days ahead of time if minimum is not met. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.
