Our culture bombards us with messages of joy and happiness during the holiday season. But not everyone is up and cheery for the holidays, especially this year. On top of dealing with illness, isolation, and economic uncertainty, many people are coping with hidden grief or loss. Whether you are missing spending time with family and friends, mourning the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce, coping with a job loss, living with illness or trauma, or any number of other human situations, it's not unusual to feel down at the holidays.
If this describes the holiday season for you or someone you love, you are invited to attend the Rites of Passage, LLC online “Blue Holiday Workshop.”
This workshop is a safe space of acknowledgment and acceptance. We will include space for conversation, meditation, ritual, and share coping strategies for getting through the season. Whether you embrace the religious or cultural aspects of the holiday season (or both) you are welcome. People of all secular or spiritual worldviews are encouraged to attend.
The registration fee supports the work of Rites of Passage, LLC. We have a sliding scale of $8, $12, or $16. Our basic fee is $12. Pay less as necessary or more if you want :)
Please contact Kristabeth Atwood at [email protected] with any questions.
