Order in advance, pick up your meal, and take it home! This delicious food is being prepared by Slobodanka (Boba) Sehic, who grew up in Bosnia, and learned from her mother how to cook at a young age. In 2001, Boba moved to the US with her family, and got a job as healthcare worker, which she still enjoys doing. She lives in Vermont with her 2 daughters and teaches them how to cook, just like her mom taught her. Meeting people from different countries inspires her to make dishes from all over the world, and she enjoys it very much. Bosnian, Jamaican, Puerto Rican, Peruvian, Haitian, Trini, and Colombian dishes are some of her favorite dishes to make.
This Caribbean meal will include:
Stewed oxtail (slow cooked oxtail with onions, garlic, carrots, peppers and butter beans)
Rice and beans (delicious rice cooked in coconut milk, scallions, thyme and seasonings)
Steamed vegetables (cabbage, carrots & onions)
Pineapple upside down cake (eggs, flour, milk, brown sugar, pineapple slices & maraschino cherries)

Vegetarian option:
Jerk spiced lentil Bolognese (lentils cooked with tomatoes, onions ,garlic, pimento, jerk seasoning, spices & scotch bonnet pepper served over spaghetti)
Plantains
Jerk buttered garlic bread
Pineapple upside down cake (eggs, flour, milk, brown sugar, pineapple slices & maraschino cherries)
