De La Bruere Organic Dairy is a 100% grass fed, certified organic farm that sells their milk to Organic Valley, under the Grassmilk label. The farm became certified in 2007 and is owned and operated by Paul De La Bruere and family where they milk 53 Jersey/Holstein crosses in a tiestall barn. Every spring, Paul moves his herd from his home farm in Swanton, down to Essex for the summer grazing season. Paul also produces certified organic hay and retail meat cuts. Come and enjoy dinner baked in NOFA-VT's wood-fired pizza oven, followed by a farm tour.
