STAR WARS AUCTION FOR VCCN ~ organized by Emma Rose

This party is dedicated to my dad Paul Rose who was a big Star Wars fan. Without him my family and I would never have had the confidence and determination to start & build X-Tract Vermont into the business it is today. He passed away from cancer before the lab was operational and since then, we’ve poured our entire lives into making his dream of running this family business come true. We’ve managed to build an amazing team and are lucky to work with some of Vermont’s coolest brands! We’ve built X-Tract Vermont to better our community and employees’ lives.

There is a group of kind and hardworking people I wished my dad had known many years ago–Michelle and Troy from Vermont Cannabis Care Network & cannabis brand, Highly Rooted. The number of cancer patients they help every day is incredible, and we are planning a Star Wars themed auction (with fun collectibles and cannabis related products for bid) to help raise awareness to their organization. Too many cancer patients often don't know they can seek help and treatment through cannabis. Fostering those connections could save lives.

The money raised from this auction will go directly to helping one of VCCN's cannabis patients, Ruby Lanza. Ruby is 9 years old was diagnosed with an aggressive form of nasal cancer about a year ago. Her family, owners of Passion Fruit Farms in Vermont, need our help to get through this difficult and heartbreaking journey.
