As Autumn winds start to blow, a hot bowl of congee can warm the heart, wake up the senses, and stretch a dollar. Join Cameron in learning about traditional Chinese herbs and spices as you create your own custom dipping oil to dress up a wholesome bowl of multi-grain congee. Learn about this versatile staple of Asian cuisine and how you can transform it from sweet to spicy to savory which will keep your belly full and your taste buds enlivened throughout the coming winter months!


About the instructor:

Cameron Wong lives in Richmond with his wife and dog. Having grown up in a Chinese family, he has learned Hakka cuisine from his grandfather and while working in China he toured the country learning regional delicacies. Chinese food is one of the main staples in his household cooking along with Italian, Indian, and Southern BBQ cuisines.


Our facility is BYOB.

Class has a maximum of 12 students and a minimum of 6. Classes may be cancelled 4 days ahead of time if minimum is not met. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. (The SevenDays Ticketing fee is not refundable.)
