This is a free, monthly space to gather with others who are interested in exploring ecological questions, emotional elements of climate change, ideas of change, building community, and creating a thriving world.
Each month we explore a different theme. The host, Ariel, will provide a little structure, but it will be a fairly open format and leave plenty of opportunity to discuss, share, and explore.
December's topic is The Darkness
Over the next few weeks, we will be traveling through the darkest time of the year. A time of hibernation, a time of quiet, a time for loved ones, and a time to honor the darkness. What is the darkness in your ecological work? What does it represent, and what can be found there? As we turn inward during the winter months, what parts of that can we be grateful for? What can we learn? Finally, as we move through this time of darkness, and later celebrate the return of the light, what might we wish to leave behind as we move forward into the next season?
Sessions are held online.
