This is a free, monthly space to gather with others who are interested in exploring ecological questions, emotional elements of climate change, ideas of change, building community, and creating a thriving world.

Each month we explore a different theme. The host, Ariel, will provide a little structure, but it will be a fairly open format and leave plenty of opportunity to discuss, share, and explore. 

June's topic is mother and earth

With terms like the earth mother, mother nature, Panchamama, and Gaia, there has been a long connection across many cultures between the earth and mother. Today in the United States we are in the midst of a large cultural conversation about what the role of would-be-mothers is, what rights they have, and what rights they must submit to another.

With the leaked opinion on Roe v Wade, and the final decision set to be released soon, this felt like the right time to explore what all this means for the connections between women, the feminine energy and archetype, and the role of mothers in relation to the way we talk and think about the environment and our earth.

I want to add a reminder that this conversation is for everyone. All sexes, genders, and perspectives welcome and encouraged!
