Richmond Community Kitchen is offering different cooking classes almost every week. From the basics to the exotics, join our esteemed chef instructors for some hands-on time in the kitchen. Classes are limited to 12 so you will have your own cooking station and hands-on support to learn something creative and delicious!
Fermented foods like kombucha, cultured veggies, and kefir boost digestive health, energy levels, immunity, and mood. Learn how easy it is to ferment by creating your own cultured veggies like sauerkraut or kimchi. Taste and learn about kefir and kombucha too. Learning to culture food can improve overall health, save money, and empower you in the kitchen to nourish yourself on a deeper level. You’ll leave with a jar of veggies, a scoby for brewing kombucha, and the confidence to create your own culture! Bring two 16 oz mason jars to take home your veggies.
