For a number of years The Nature Conservancy has been working with Audubon Vermont at the Helen W. Buckner Preserve to provide high-quality Golden-winged Warbler habitat. We’ll take a look at this work, learn how to assess bird habitat, do some birding, and more! This workshop is appropriate for landowners, foresters, and anyone else interested in learning about thoughtful land management.
Audubon Vermont is excited to be joining forces with our colleagues at Audubon New York, Vermont Woodlands Association, Vermont Tree Farm Program, and New York Tree Farm Program in offering this special habitat management workshop! For a number of years The Nature Conservancy has been working with Audubon Vermont on management of the Helen W. Buckner Preserve at Bald Mountain to provide high-quality Golden-winged Warbler habitat. We’ll take a look at this work, learn how to assess bird habitat, do some birding, and more! This workshop is appropriate for landowners, foresters, and anyone else interested in learning about how thoughtful land management can be used as a tool for enhancing forest and shrubland bird habitat.
