Green Mountain Roller Derby is Back in Black! Join Vermont’s premiere roller derby league at the Champlain Valley Exposition on Saturday, May 18th for an evening of heart-pounding, family-friendly fun. Cheer on home team Green Mountain Roller Derby in a matchup against New York’s Salt City Roller Derby and participate in a 50/50 halftime raffle to benefit local non-profit Essex Pride. Doors open at 5:30, first whistle at 6:30.
Established in 2007, Green Mountain Roller Derby is Vermont’s premiere roller derby league. Our mission is to empower women, gender expansive, and non-binary people personally and athletically through the sport of roller derby. As a skater-owned and operated organization, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of respect and sportsperson-ship on and off the track, uphold the rules and values of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, and act as a positive force in our community.
