Grief Gathering is an opportunity for those who have experienced loss to find connection through meditation, ritual, and community sharing.
Together, we will explore how ritual, connection, and community help us through times of loss. Bereavement is often a time when we feel most alone, even under normal circumstances. During our Covid-19 era, gathering in traditional ways that communicate support and care is impossible. During Grief Gathering, we will recognize the universality of loss even as we seek to honor the uniqueness of each participant's experience of loss. Each of the four sessions will include meditation, interactive ritual, and conversation.
All are welcome to Grief Gathering - including the recently bereaved and those whose loss was longer ago, but still present. There will be four sessions in the Grief Gathering series (Thursday evenings August 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 7pm-8pm (ET). Participants are welcome to attend individual sessions or all four. Each session will feature unique meditations and ritual practices.
Participation is limited to 16 people per session. Workshop cost is $45 for the four-week series or $15 per session.
