This workshop is a super fun way to discover creative movement and body awareness!
Kids learn basic, balance, motor skills, flexibility, and the joy of movement in an encouraging, positive environment, providing a joyful experience into circus arts through imagination and play.
This class is for kids wanting to explore circus arts, including juggling, basic aerial arts, clowning, tumbling and more. We focus on team work, strength, coordination, and confidence.
Lots of fun physical activity games, and play. A positive, encouraging environment allows kids of all abilities and activity levels to believe in themselves and learn what practice can unleash!
Bronwyn Sims is a creator, performer, director, choreographer, and educator.
Bronwyn is a registered teaching artist through the state of Vermont and is a member of NEFA’S Creative Ground. She has been awarded grants from The Vermont Community Foundation, The Vermont Arts Council, and The Network of Ensemble Theaters.
She has appeared in theatre, film and on television. She has performed throughout New England, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Colorado and Europe. Bronwyn was a Lecturer in Acting at Yale School of Drama, and on the faculty at New England Center for Circus Arts. Bronwyn was the acrobatics and movement instructor at The Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training and has conducted guest master classes throughout the country. She holds an MFA in Devised Physical Theatre Performance from The University of The Arts and Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training. She holds a Certificate in Acting from Circle in the Square Theatre School.
She is also Co-Founder and Producing Director of Strong Coffee Stage, a Physical Theatre Company based in Vermont, and a member and dance affiliate with The Vermont Dance Alliance.
