Lucy Chapin is a Vermont-based singer-songwriter, known for her warm stage presence, memorable lyrics, and crystalline voice. Spanning genres, she melds sounds from the world of folk, blues, and country.
Lucy is returning to music after a ten-year hiatus, where she devoted herself to practicing as a midwife and raising her two children. These life experiences have provided her with rich fodder for new songs. She returns to the stage with refreshed curiosity, passion, and gratitude for the ease of slipping back into such familiar joy.
Lucy will share this bill with long-time collaborator and brilliant singer-songwriter, Lowell Thompson, whom the Burlington Free Press describes as, “Tom Petty-ish rock and Americana with nods to the sounds of acts such as Nick Lowe and Big Star.” They will perform originals interspersed with choice covers by artists like Graham Parsons, Lucinda Williams, and Jason Isbell.
