Join us for a special night of music FOR KIDS (& adults) with Mister Chris And Friends w/ Miss Andrea Musical Munchkins of Vermont! $10 suggested donation to support Waterbury starting points network. Doors 330pm, Show 4pm.

The Waterbury Starting Points Network is made up of a vibrant group of Home Childcare and Preschool Providers that live in Washington County. Network provider members are unique as they provide professional, emotional, and ethical support to one another to foster high quality early childhood experiences to children and families in the community. Any funds raised will be distributed to the providers to assist in adding musical curriculum to their individualized programs.
The Mister Chris and Friends Band strives to illuminate the simple beauty of childhood, parenthood, and community. Singer-songwriter and educator, Chris Dorman, writes, records, and performs thoughtful and tender songs that captivate multi-generational audiences. These original songs are written with the most sensitive ears in mind and are the foundation for his music and movement program, Music For Sprouts, as well as a new children’s television show called Mister Chris and Friends, created by Chris and produced by Vermont PBS. Chris lives with his family on their community farm, Bread & Butter Farm, on the town line of Shelburne and South Burlington.
Andrea Soberman, early childhood educator, preschool specialist, and now Director of Musical Munchkins® opened Orange County's first Musical Munchkins® school in Goshen, NY in 1993. Andrea Soberman (“Miss Andrea”) graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Early Childhood Education with graduate studies in music and art. She taught Pre-K through 2nd grade before joining the staff of Musical Munchkins of Westchester (where it all began).

Andrea has given workshops at local early childhood educational conferences throughout Ulster and Orange Counties, and has performed at many libraries, daycares, and nursery school programs throughout the Hudson Valley. In Fall 2018 she opened up a new branch in Waterbury, Vermont. Welcome, Andrea!
