Update from SolarFest's staff as of July 12: This is both difficult and ironic.

The planet has seen unprecedented numbers of catastrophic weather events over the past few weeks. During the past few days, Vermont and surrounding states have experienced terrible impacts of the man-made climate crisis.

In light of these struggles, and with concern for the safety and well being of our neighbors and friends, the Board of SolarFest has decided to postpone the festival planned for this weekend in Brandon.

We will work to return your complete payment and advise about new dates for SolarFest 2023 will be announced as soon as arrangements can be made so that we can continue to educate and work to reduce future suffering from climate change.

SolarFest, the Northeast’s premier renewable energy and arts festival since 1995, combines outstanding entertainment with not-to-be-missed workshops in a family-friendly, sustainable community. The festival will be held July 15-16, 2023 at our new, permanent location in Brandon, VT.

The music begins at 11am on Saturday featuring a wide range of great music on our solar-powered stages, including Afro-Caribbean, Ambient Instrumental, Americana Roots Rock, Celtic, Contemporary Folk, Environmental Education Songs; Global-Groove, Grammy-Nominated Reggae, Call & Response, Jazz Folk, Latin Funk, Salt-water Country, Snarling Energetic Guitar, Stories with a Twang , plus the return of the our Singer-Songwriter Showcase!

Headline performances include Dar Williams and two-time Grammy nominee Etana and The Raw-Soul Rebels, plus HuDost, Lara Herscovitch & the Highway Philosophers, the Ray Vega Latin Jazz, the Jim Gilmour Band, the House of Hamill, Maple Run Band, the Cam Gilmour Trio, Pamela Means, Louise Mosrie Coombe, Gammy Moses, Tom Pearo, Moose Jr. and "Special Guests" the Falcon Ridge Most Wanted: Phil Henry, Grace Morrison, Sam Robbins, Erin Ash Sullivan. Plus the return of the SolarFest Singer-Songwriter Showcase!
