Come join us for a day of basket weaving in Underhill, VT, at the beautiful home and community healing center overlooking the Adirondacks, lovingly called, "The Roost".
In this basket-weaving intensive, everyone will make and leave with their own garden harvest basket, one of my favorite baskets and most popular classes perfect for harvesting leafy greens in the garden, foraging in the woods, berry picking all summer, or to take with you to the farmer's market. This basket finishes with a beautiful leather strap, color of your choice.
Basket weaving is a way to connect with our ancestral lineage, it is an allowance to sit together and tell stories, to commit to making slow and honoring the process. I am so excited to meet you and weave together!
Snacks and herbal tea will be provided. Please bring a pencil, a flat head screwdriver, and scissors. Please also bring a personal lunch, or a pot-luck dish to share.
This class is open to ages 16 and up, no experience necessary. Space is limited so please register early! Check out a gallery of past workshops at alexarivera.com or email me with any questions at [email protected]
