The Quarry Project is a dance/theater performance in the Wells-Lamson quarry, one of the oldest and deepest granite quarries in the country, located in Websterville, VT. This site-specific piece, created by award winning Vermont choreographer Hannah Dennison, will be staged for 13 evenings only, with an intimate audience of just 90 each evening. Both the audience and the performers will be on platforms floating on the waters of this 6-acre, outdoor theater setting.
Websterville is located south of Barre City, 15 mins from Exit 6 on I-89, 60 mins from Burlington, White River Junction, and St. Johnsbury, and 80 mins from Rutland, VT.
CHILDREN: We would love you to introduce your children to the magic of live performance, but please note that this performance is 90 minutes with no intermission. Audience members must remain seated and be escorted on and off the floating audience platform. WEATHER: In the event of rain, the performance will be canceled. Please be sure to enter an email address when purchasing tickets for any updates, cancellations will be announced no later than 1pm. If the performance is canceled, you will be offered a full refund.
LIABILITY: When purchasing your tickets you will be asked to sign the liability release form. All audience members are required to sign the liability release form and, to ensure your safety, will be escorted onsite and onto and off the floating audience platform.
