Grange Hall Cultural Center is delighted to present a screening of
The Quarry Project Film on February 26 @ 5pm.
The Quarry Project, seven years in the making, was created and directed by Hannah Dennison. It was performed live in the Wells Lamson granite quarry in Websterville, VT in August 2022 to completely sold out audiences.
If you were unable to attend one of the fourteen performances of The Quarry Project last summer, a heralded site-specific dance/theater piece in a most awe-inspiring setting, you were not the only one. But take heart. Ms. Dennison, in her generous style of commitment to the Vermont community and her dedication to civic collaboration, has taken it a step further by partnering with film director Lukas Huffman of Huffman Studio in Montpelier to capture this project on film. By sharing The Quarry Project Film in local venues around the state, she is making it available for more than the 1500 people in the quarry audience to experience. Admission is by a suggested donation between $5 - $20. Ensemble members will be present for the Q&A engagement to follow.
