‘Tis the Season concerts will feature Taylor Scott Davis’ new setting of the timeless Magnificat text for mixed voices with harp, organ and percussion. Solaris is delighted to offer Vermont’s first performance of this powerful and majestic work recently recorded by the outstanding British vocal ensemble Voces8. We are so very pleased to welcome back harpist Rebecca Kauffman as our Guest Artist for these performances. Beloved carol arrangements will fill the second half with glorious sounds of the season.
Important Covid Note: We remain diligent about the safety and health of our singers and guests. Due to the spike in Covid numbers, we will ask all audience members to show proof of vaccination before entering the concert hall, and all will be required to wear masks while indoors. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions, so please bring your ticket and proof of vaccination (card or photo) with you or you will not be able to attend the concert. If you forget your mask we will have a small number available, along with hand sanitizer. All Solaris singers are vaccinated and will be tested prior to performance, and may sing without masks. The front rows will be unoccupied to allow space between singers and audience. This venue seats 350 and tickets are limited to 200. We look forward to a safe and joyous concert! Frankly, we can't wait to see you!
