As both a digital media hub and producer of live events, Vermontijuana helps connect the diverse plants, places, and people of Vermont’s cannabis community with each other, with experts from other communities, and with canna-curious visitors and travelers to Vermont.

The mission of Vermontijuana is to ELEVATE THE STATE of cannabis in Vermont.

“Elevate the State” doesn’t necessarily mean getting high, but rather, to better understand cannabis as a plant, medicine, and complex cultural force. Our media, events, and experiences provide practical education for EVERYONE, and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a cultivator, connoisseur, or a canna-curious citizen, you’ll learn, be entertained, and make impactful connections through Vermontijuana.

Vermontijuana was first founded as a blog and podcast by Eli Harrington in 2015 and has since been resurrected as of late 2019.  Familiar to many as a cofounder and spokesperson of Heady Vermont until his resignation in May 2019, Harrington is also a communications consultant as the founder of Greenbridge Consulting, and a registered lobbyist in Vermont, where he is working pro bono to pass legislation to allow for cannabis events in Vermont.
