The New Stage Players invite the community for a creative social & dramatic reading of acclaimed play, Middletown, by Will Eno read by local actors. With Middletown, Will Eno provides us a contemporary retelling of the beloved 1938 play Our Town (by Thorton Wilder (set in 1901), bringing forward themes of Daily Life, Love & Marriage, and Death & Eternity, creating a funny, whimsical and etheral theatrical journey for 21st century audiences. We welcome discussion to hear thoughts, impressions, questions, and compare the two plays as desired.
